Join us for our FIRST WTF Wednesday of the school year: I SAW THE TV GLOW (2024)!
Sometimes TV feels more real than life.
Owen and Maddy feel that way about The Pink Opaque, a strange late-night show they watched together as kids. Two years after running away, Maddy mysteriously reappears and so does The Pink Opaque, which begins to distort and fracture their reality.
A late ‘90s/‘00s nostalgia trip, I Saw the TV Glow uniquely captures the horrors of isolation, adolescence, and queer identity in this nightmarish, supernatural fever dream.
