A screening of the documentary, Love & Stuff followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, Judith Helfand. 

Director Judith Helfand reflects on her relationship with her late mother as she embarks on adopting a baby girl on her own at age 50. In order to make room for the new baby, Helfand must sort through 63 boxes of her mother’s belongings that have monopolized her living space. Seamlessly blending old home movies and videos of her mother as she unpacks objects that chronicle her childhood, Helfand ingeniously creates an ongoing dialogue with her late mother that enables her to work through her grief and embark on a new future. A moving exploration of the mother-daughter bond.
