Pop-Up Cinematheque: The Rules of the Game

POP-UP CINEMATHEQUE is back for a second season!  The Cinema Studies Institute and Media Archives present a film screening series highlighting rare films from our collections. Each screening features an introductory talk discussing the unique aspects of the film and its archival status.

Don't miss our first screening, THE RULES OF THE GAME (1939), on Monday, November 3, 2025! The film screens on 16mm and features an introduction by Charlie Keil.  

Screenings take place on Monday at 6:30pm in the Robarts Theatre (RL-3025), on the third floor of Robarts Library, 130 St. George Street, Toronto ON. 

All screenings are free but registration is required. Screenings open for registration two weeks before the screening date.
