Biography :
Erin Mick completed a BA in History, minoring in Philosophy, and an MA in History, both at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her doctoral research centers on contemporary horror cinema, with particular interest in emergent modes of fan/viewer engagement, as well as horror's relationship to and mobilization of notions of trauma and collective memory. Erin also works as an actor, and is a writer of horror fiction.
