Abigail Moser

Abbie is an MA student at the University of Toronto’s Cinema Studies Institute. She obtained her BA in Women & Gender Studies and Book & Media Studies at the University of Toronto. Her current research interests centre around the demonization of the rural landscape and its residents within horror as a method of capitalist advocacy, the politics of “lowbrow” cinema, queer and feminist theory, and the reimagination of the final girl trope.
