Biography
Hannah Fleisch is currently pursuing a Masters in Cinema Studies at the University of Toronto. She received her BSc majoring in Physics and Cinema Studies with a minor in Diaspora and Transnational Studies at the University of Toronto. Her current research interests involves African Art cinema, film collectives and alternative modes of image-making and exhibition with an attention to aesthetics, queerness and post-coloniality. She is the co-founder of the Poor Image Collective and former programmer for the Cinema Studies Student Union.
