Biography

Maggie Roberts is a PhD student studying Cinema Studies at the Cinema Studies Institute. She previously completed her MA in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California and her BA in English Cultural Studies and World Cinemas at McGill University. She has contributed to publications such as Film Quarterly, Alphaville: Journal of Film and Screen Media and F Word. Her research focuses on cinematic portrayals of sexual violence and their intersections with American and Canadian experimental film.
