2026 Graduate Application Deadline

Description
The firm deadline for graduate applications for a September 2026 start is 11:59 pm January 7, 2026 for payment and all documents and reference letters.
The application is online for both domestic MA applications, and domestic and international PhD applications. We are not accepting international applications at the MA level.

Please also note that the Cinema Studies Graduate Office will be closed Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025 to Sunday, January 4th, 2026 inclusive. Inquiries that come in during this period will be responded to when the office re-opens on Monday, January 5th. IT support for the application system is also paused during the University closure from December 23-January 4. The FAQ may address some of your issues in the interim.
