Description

You are invited to a walkthrough of the exhibit Beefcake: Physique Photography from the Waugh Collection with curator Daniel Laurin and collector Thomas Waugh. Laurin and Waugh will lead a guided tour of more than 100 original photographs and ephemera from the 1920s to 1960s, and will speak about how the exhibit came to be, the contents of the collection, recurring themes, historical context, and the process of collecting and publishing the works.

The tour will take place at 4 pm on Thursday, August 24 at the Museum Exhibit Space of the Learning Hub, on the 5th floor of the Claude T. Bissell Building, 140 St. George Street. Accessible entrance on Sussex Ave.
