Iranian director Mohsen Makhmalbaf tracks down the police officer he once stabbed in his semi-autobiographical recreation of their altercation, twenty years after the fact. Documentary, fiction, love, heartbreak, and humour intermingle in Makhmalbafās beautiful tale of learning and forgiveness.
