The Cinema Studies Student Union (CINSSU) have planned a program of Free Friday Films over the summer, though not all of the films will screen on a Friday.
This Monday, August 22, CINSSU presents Buena Vista Social Club in Innis Town Hall in the Digital Cinema Package format.
Buena Vista Social Club is a 1999 documentary film directed by Wim Wenders about the music of Cuba. In 2020, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant."
Free and open to the general public. Masking optional.
