The Cinema Studies Student Union (CINSSU) have planned a program of Free Friday Films over the summer, though not all of the films will screen on a Friday.
CINSSU presents a special 35mm screening of The Piano (1993), written and directed by Jane Campion. The Piano is a period drama film starring Holly Hunter, Harvey Keitel, Sam Neill, and Anna Paquin in her first major acting role. The film focuses on a mute Scottish woman who travels to a remote part of New Zealand with her young daughter after her arranged marriage to a frontiersman.
Free and open to the general public, as always.
