Brett Story's documentary wins Cannes post-production award

Prof. Brett Story's work-in-progress, The Production of the World, was awarded the Post-Production Award at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film, the Cannes Film Festival’s international industry market. The award grants €5,000 in post-production services to Brett's project.

CSI PhD advances to Three Minute Thesis Finals

Daniele Iannucci, PhD candidate at the Cinema Studies Institute, has advanced to the 2025 U of T Three Minute Thesis Finals, taking place in person on Wednesday, March 26 at 6:00 pm in the William Doo Auditorium. He has secured a spot as one of the 12 finalists from an initial pool of more than 80 graduate students.
