A Cinema Studies Institute alumna, Geo Bradley has been selected to participate in the first annual Screamwriting Fellowship. The program, created in partnership with the Sundance Institute, was established to provide support and mentorship to underrepresented emerging film and television writers aspring to work in the horror genre.
Geo's project, "Rot" is about an antisocial man who is suffering from obsessive compulsions and haunted by the death of his hoarder mother. The man takes work as a trauma cleaner in hopes of facing his past, but the job soon begins to infest and unravel his mental state.
Geo graduated as a Cinema Studies Specialist in 2015. She credits her experiences in the program as formative in the development of her artistic voice and interests.
Congratulations, Geo Bradley!
