Canadian director and producer, Julien Christian Lutz, professionally known as Director X, has collaborated with artists such as Justin Bieber, Drake, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, and many more. On Monday, September 18, Lutz sat down and spoke with Prof. Lauren Cramer, who is teaching CIN320H1F - Music Video Vanguard in Fall 2023, in front of a student audience in Innis Town Hall about his work including his forthcoming television series, Robyn Hood. Lutz spoke about not settling for "good enough," taking in feedback from others while remaining true to one's vision, and the influence of rhythm and dance in his work. The event ended with a lengthy Q&A session with the audience.
